Visit from TfL
Transport for London (TfL) delivered an engaging and highly interactive presentation to our students about travelling safely on buses and the tube. Students took part in hands-on activities, including pretending to tap their cards to board a bus and responding to different scenarios by pressing a blue information or green emergency button. They learned how to recognise, and approach trusted adults, such as uniformed staff, if they need help. The session also covered what to do if they get lost, where to stand safely, and how to signal for a bus to stop. Overall, the experience was both fun and empowering, helping students build confidence in using public transport independently.
