Creative Learning at Raw Ground Arts

Our pupils have been thoroughly enjoying their regular visits to Raw Ground Arts, where they take part in inspiring, hands-on art workshops led by professional artists.

Each session gives children the opportunity to explore a wide range of creative techniques, from drawing and painting to mixed-media work, all within a supportive and inclusive environment. The workshops are carefully designed to encourage curiosity, self-expression, and confidence, allowing every child to develop their own artistic voice.

Staff have been incredibly impressed by the pupils’ engagement and creativity during these sessions. Many children who may find traditional classroom tasks challenging have shown real confidence and pride in their work when given the opportunity to express themselves through art.

These visits also support wider learning skills such as communication, collaboration, and resilience, while giving pupils the chance to experience art in a professional studio setting.
