What a fabulous afternoon with the fire engine and fire fighters at our South Harrow School. As the Fire Engine pulled up in the School grounds, the pupils were eager to participate and learn about Fire Risks as well as opportunities in Training to be a Fire Fighter. Pupils went out in small groups to engage with the Fire Fighters and learn how to use equipment and procedures to follow on the Fire Engine. Fortunately, it was a glorious dry winter day, and pupils were able to use the water hoses to try and tackle an imaginary fire.
